About Us

K & M Leisure is a thriving swim school which has been established for many years.  It was formed by Karen Price who has over 25 years experience of teaching children and adults to swim.

 The aim of the school is to provide high quality teaching and learning to pupils through the Swimming Teachers' Association skills programme.

The school bases the awards scheme around pupils from the ages of 4 years upwards offering a wide range of lessons through the learn to swim programme.

K & M Leisure believe all should learn to swim and be safe in, on and near water. Swimming should be fun and many health benefits come with it. Through the STA programme K & M Leisure offer a safe environment in which to be taught fun, encouraging lessons providing an understanding of water safety, taught by experienced qualified swimming teachers.

All the teachers at K. & M. Leisure are encouraged to keep up to date with their skills and knowledge.  They are encouraged to attend Conferences, Seminars and workshops on a regular basis, which forms part of their continued professional development.  This ensures that they are up to date with information, which in turn enables them to pass on this knowledge to your children, ensuring high quality teaching at all times.

Each Teacher is a member of the Royal Life Saving Society and a Member of the Swimming Teachers' Association or Institure of Swimming (ASA)
